Posting Management

How long does it take an advertisement to get approved?

  • We process the majority of the advertisements within few hours of posting. However, it may take longer during a system upgrade and public holidays.

 

Is the posting of the advertisement FREE and for how long?

  • Yes, the posting of the advertisement is completely FREE. The period of time it will be displayed is 90 days for a personal account is 60 days and 365 days for a business account.

 

How can I make changes to my advertisement?

  • To make changes, you will need to login, click on “my account” and search for the advertisement that you want to edit. Once you are done with your updates, click on the “update” button.

 

How can I delete or remove an advertisement?

  • To delete or remove an advertisement, you will need to login and click on the “delete” button.

 

Why has my advertisement been rejected or deleted?

  • This may happen due to any one of the reasons below:
  1. The advertisement posting period has expired
  2. Your advertisement does not have the necessary info such as email and seller info.
  3. Your advertisement contains an illegal product or service.
  4. Your advertisement is promoting duplicate products or servicess.

How do I bump my advertisement?

  • Login to your account profile page and then click “bump” button. Your advertisement will then appear at the top. You are only allowed to bump the same advertisement after 24 hours.

 

How do I receive payment from buyers?

  • We are classified site that only provide a platform to connect buyers and sellers. Any transactions happened later will entirely depends on both parties.

 

How do I complain about an advertisement?

  • Please copy the website link address (URL) of that particular advertisement and send it to us at [email protected]

 

Why is my advertisement still showing after I have deleted it?

  • Even though MaldivesOnlineShop.com has deleted your advertisement, it is likely that your advertisement is featuring in web search engines such as Google and Yahoo. This happens due to indexation. Please wait for up to 48 hours. Search engines would have removed the advertisement by then.

Email

  • Please ensure that you sign up with the correct and valid email address so that we and the buyers can contact you.

Password

  • Password will be auto-generated and sent to your email upon signup. You are advised to change your password right after you log in the first time.
  • In the event that you have forgotten your password, click on the “forgot password” button and enter your email address. We will send you a new password via your registered email.
  • Do check your Junk or spam folder if you didn’t receive “welcome” or “forgot password” email from us.  In the event that you are still unable to find the email, please contact us at [email protected]
